We believe that a business is responsible for
achieving good environmental practice and operating in a sustainable
manner. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and
continually improving our environmental performance. Not only is this
sound commercial sense for all; it is also a matter of delivering on our duty
of care towards future generations. With that in mind, we trade with these main
principles in mind:
To source the highest quality
organic and natural skin care products, and to minimise the use of synthetic
ingredients. The products we stock do not contain SLS or SLES, Parabens,
Synthetic Colour or Fragrance, or Propylene Glycol.
We believe in paying a fair price
for goods or services, and to use local producers/manufacturers wherever
possible. We fully support fair-trade projects and would favour these over
other products.
We believe in as far as possible,
purchase products and services that do the least damage to the environment and
encourage others to do the same.
We use energy saving light bulbs
and turn off computers when not in use. We also try not to print emails if not
needed, and will always recycle the ones we do print. We are aware of the
effects of carbon emissions are having on the environment and we will do all we
can to reduce this...
We believe that products should
NOT be tested on animals. !
We will always minimize packaging
as much as possible.
We support our customers to reuse
the mailing bags our orders are packaged in, or to recycle or reuse any boxes.
We post our orders out in
recycled bio degradable packaging and will always re use packaging / boxes as
much as possible...
We will also encourage our
customers to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible.
